[Gmat-developers] J2000 instead of J1945

Hi,


I am developing a FDS based on GMAT core functionalities, and using the
GMATconsole. As you know, GMAT uses Modified Julian dates based on 1945 which is
not very common. So, I would like to use J2000 Modified Julian dates. I know the
change is not trivial (or it is?), and I have seen there are some constants
defined in the code. However, I am afraid there are a lot of hardcoded dates.

The my doubts are:

* I would like to know your opinion about that change

If feasible, a part of replacing/updating the constants, can you give me some
hints about other changes to be implemented?

* If it is not possible or recommend to modify the C++ code, is there a way to
do that conversion in the scripts? So, at the end, GMAT generates dates in
J2000.
