[Gmat-developers] Question regarding merging mission tree code

Hi there!

I'm new to GMAT, having explored the software previously but never really gotten into scripting before. I'm working with a friend on a mars mission that would attempt to reduce some of the fuel consumption from the MOI burn and facilitate capture by Mars gravity.

In order to do this, I'm starting from the Mars-B-Plane GMAT script and trying to incorporate a finite burn into the targeting sequence. Is there someone who I could talk to about how to do this?

Hi Grace,

 

    There is a tutorial on how to use finite burns in targeters.   The associated script is called Tut_Target_Finite_Burn_to_Raise_Apogee.script and is located in the samples directory.
