Losing labels

When I am reorganizing my gmarks, I often lose labels, or even whole
trees of labels. It seems that some gmarks may have shifted labels
"sideways" - losing the label tree I gave them and gaining another -
because they just show up in random places. Does this happen to other
people? It is frustrating. I wonder if I created the problem by using
":" instead of "," for my label separator?

I use ">" as label separator

If you drag and drop a label directly ontop of another label it is merged together, if you insert it inside of the other label it will become a nested label inside of the other. That may be confusing and is possibly what is causing you to say the labels are disappearing. Sorry about the weird behavior.
