most of the time when I save a page to gmarks - I get an error msg
saying "there was an error submitting "this address" to google;" and
it will not register; does this mean it is not saving at all - does it
save in the gmark drop down list? why is it happening? please provide
detailed assistance...

You need to be signed into google for bookmarks to be saved. I think
thats the problem here.

Hi,
i have the same problem. But I AM logged in into google (the "Google
Search History"-Login popups everytime i open firefox). I cant save
new bookmarks with gmarks anymore, i have to use the google-website. I
use version 1.0.1
Does google changed some api?

It's doing it to me too. I can't add bookmarks but I'm signed in to
Google. It won't let me log in to Gmarks to add bookmarks, either.

Yes, same here. I noticed that it broke after I installed the sxipper
plugin, but I've since uninstalled it, tried other google bookmark
plugins, renamed my .mozilla directory, and all without effect - I can
no longer add bookmarks via any of the firefox plugins.

I am running Debian testing, and update weekly or so, if there are any
dependencies on other libraries.

Firefox (Iceweasel) 3.0.14.

Hi,

here its only on one of my three computers. I think I should copy my
firefox profile von one one of the other two, perhaps it works then
there again.

Yes, you are right. I only have it on one computer as well. They
have identical versions of all software. (and I just updated them to
the latest of everything, and restarted firefox, and one works, and
one doesn't...)

Hrm.
