Displaying marker at a specific level of zoom.

Hi, I want to display a marker in my map only at certain level of zoom.

Ex: If i'm seeing US I show nothing, but if I zoom in New York I display some markers.

The real problem is, How that I know that I`m seeing NY?

Anyone know if it's possible?
