(More pictures, as always.)

I was going to make one last travel update post from the same Internet
Café where I made my first one from Playa del Carmen back at the end
of July. But it costs 7 pesos for just 15 minutes. I'm sure I paid
that much the first time, but when the most expensive internet place
I'll use in San Cristóbal is 8 pesos an hour, I couldn't bring myself
to do it.

But I am at least in the same city from which I made my very first
post of this trip, which I guess is something. I'm kind of spending a
day doing my "usual" Playa things before going home for a couple
weeks. So far I've had a 25 peso liter of really good fruit smoothie
and sat on the beach for awhile. In a little bit, I'm going to go to
the 2-for-1 beer place on the beach and have a couple coronas for
another 25 pesos. Then for dinner I'll probably head over to "my"
Chinese buffet place and have some fast food.

As you already know if you read my livejournal entries, I was hoping
to meet up with at least one or two people while here, but that
doesn't look like it's going to happen. Which is just as well, I
guess, since after a night spent sleeping badly on a bus, I'll
probably crash by 8 or 9pm, which wouldn't be very fun for whoever I
was hanging out with. But it still allows me to spend a day at the
beach between the mountains (in SC) and the snow (in MI).

Happy holidays to everyone.
