Off to Boston

to Boston, with a layover in Detroit. (For those of you who didn't
know: I'm moving to Boston, hopefully to find another job teaching
English.)
It was fun to be home, and I'm glad I got to spend time with family
and friends, especially people from Fountain Street who were back in
town these last couple weeks for the holidays. Also, it was nice to
be at the house in Allegan one last time, since when I return next,
hopefully my dad will have sold it and fully moved into the condo he
and Candice are getting in Grand Rapids. It's kind of sad when I
think specifically about not going back to that house, but at the same
time, that's not something I think specifically about much, and
sometimes doing so feels like I'm trying to dwell on it more than
necessary. But we did live there for nearly 20 years, so it will
definitely be strange when Allegan is no longer the place I go home to
for Christmas and such.
I'll have fast Internet in Boston, so hopefully I'll finally get
through uploading and sending the rest of the pictures I took in
Mexico all those months ago. :-)
