Berkeley update

about 11:40pm (at which point we rushed to get to a nearby bar before
the kitchen closed at midnight, because Sarah really wanted fries).
Berkeley is, as I expected, cloudy and cold (relatively speaking,
anyway), but temperatures in the 50's will help prepare me a bit for
temperatures in the 20's, 30's, or 40's, depending on how much longer
the warm spell in the midwest continues.
Over the course of the next few days, I'll be putting up all the rest
of my pictures from Hawaii, so check that address periodically to see
if there's anything new. When I'm completely finished, I'll send
another note out to this group. That may very well be the last
gmalivuktravel group post for this trip, since I'm flying home in a
week.
