No, you can't.
The current (aka, "new") version of GMail only lets you search the
contents of the Name field. Other fields, like Notes, Company,
Address,
etc. stay out of the lookup. You may want to switch to the "old"
version
to do the search and come back to the new version thereafter. It does
work in the older version.
You should suggest Google to implement that feature back as there are
many people (including me) that miss it.
