Importing contacts from Compuserve into Gmail

I would like to import my contacts from Compuserve into Gmail but I
can't figure out how to do it. Gmail Help shows how to import contacts
from Yahoo and Hotmail but unfortunately not from Compuserve. Gmail
Help suggests that I should make a CSV file in Excel with all my
contacts but I have over a thousand contacts and it would take forever
to type them all into Excel.
I would greatly appreciated any suggestions!!

Is there any export option for compuserve's contacts? If you can at least get a file with the info, there's probably a converter to get it to the proper format.

Hopefully Compuserve has some method to "export" your contacts into a
CSV, then you can import them to GMail. A Google search of "export
compuserve contacts" yielded many results worth reviewing to see if
one suits you (many were products to buy), and an article suggested
using "GO:UKHF" to figure out how to natively export them.
