I would like to see something like: Right click on an email address
that is inside an email body...or in the "from" area for that matter,
and a dropdown results with a "add to contacts" option...maybe even
with a list of the groups in your contacts to be able to add it into.

Does anyone know if this is possible or in the works or even an easy
way to do what I am suggesting?

Right now, if I want to add a contact, I have to copy the email
address, click on contacts, then click the group and add it in there.

I am a bit lazy...yes.

thanks

If you are adding someone that has emailed you, you can click the down arrow in the top right corner of the message and select "Add sender to contacts".

Yes i agree. However, we are just two souls wondering in a large large ocean. So perhaps it will and perhaps it may not happen. Hope for the best and be prepared for /eaven better/ the worst.

I've got great news for you!!!

I just downloaded all my contacts from hotmail.
Go to your contact list in hotmail then click on top where it says
manage, then click export, then save it to your computer. then go back
to your gmail contacts click on the top right corner where it says
import, browse and find the file then click import...within seconds
you have it!!!
