SMS in Chat

I use Chat in Gmail and am no longer able to find the SMS option. Is
this problem unique to me or have other noticed this as well? Thx

Well, that was a GMail Labs feature, and they may have decided to pull it. It does say this could happen on the labs tab in settings "They may change,break or disappear at any time."
