Search Sender

I was wondering if there was a quick way to do this/maybe a suggested
feature.

But, I would love to be able to click on a search icon next to the
sender's name and pull up all messages from that person. Anyone have a
clue if that's built in?

you can just search for from:sender

There was a feature like this, namely the contact-popups which had a
link to recent conversations. But there were a lot of complains about
it, so rather than making it optional google removed it (except in the
quick contacts tab).

You can also get this by going to the "Contacts" link and selecting a
contact, that will show you their information and all conversations.

You are right, but if you are in the Contacts-list you could just click
on a contact to show all conversations he/she contributed to. I though
the original poster wanted to be able to show these conversations
within a few click when viewing another conversation.

Exactly. I want something that's just very quick to do... Looks like
its not an option now. Oh, well...

I still think that searching for "from:who...@whatever.com" is pretty fast.
