how do you place a logo or picture next to your signature, NOT below it?

How do we do it, or how does one do it? :P

Create a blank document in your favourite word processor then insert a table with 1 row and 2 columns.
Type your signature text in the cell you wish to appear next to the image, and leave the other cell empty.
Adjust cell dimensions and change/remove table borders as desired.
Ctrl-A to select all then Ctrl-C to copy.
Open your Gmail settings, select the signature field and paste (Ctrl-V) this table.
Click into the empty cell to place the cursor there, then insert your image using the icon in the toolbar.
Click on the image to set it's size if you have not already resized it.
Save changes.

Voilà you are done.
