Make gmail STOP translating what I write.

If I write my message in German, Spanish, Italian or whatever, that it how I want it to STAY. I NEVR want it to translate anything, and I consider it automatically doing this to be an obnoxious, idiotic nuisance.

How can I fix this mess?

​Where is it being translated?

Is it being translated while you are typing it?  I have never seen that happen.  I wonder if your computer has something installed that does this.

If you mean that the recipient's computer offers to translate it, I'm afraid there is nothing you can do about that.
