Haven't been able to find "Copy Into New" feature for emails.  Is the feature available on gmail?

By that I assume you mean you want to copy part of an email and use it
as the basis of a new message?

There's always reply, if you don't mind the >'s denoting the quote
parts, but assuming you want just the text using your browser's
standard copy and pasting is your best option. Just highlight the
portion you want to copy, hit ctrl-c, open the new email, and hit
ctrl-v.

Thanks Ryan but, "copy in to new" button creates exact copy of text
previously sent, allowing you to send clean copy minus prior
addressee, etc. It looks like an original email. Particularly handy
when sending same copy to multiple recipients without placing
addressee in cc or bcc and aleviating need to copy and paste into new
"compose mail." Really, very handy, I miss that feature which I'm
able to access from office computer.

Unfortunately Gmail doesn't have anything equivalent, but if you do
that frequently you can always configure a desktop client (IE,
outlook) to access Gmail via IMAP. Once you do that, you can use the
client when you need to do something like the describe.

http://mail.google.com/support/bin/answer.py?answer=75725 will get you
started on that.

Actually, it does with the lab "Canned responses". This basically
creates a template that can be used like the one Karin is talking
about.
