Beginning about a week ago, emails were truncated in Chrome to screen size and efforts to scroll down brought a blank screen.  Scrolls fine on Firefox and IE.

Have removed and reinstalled Chrome.  Same problem.

Have I made a change with consequences I didn't foresee or is it something else?

BTW, Chrome opens and scrolls webpages fine and I want to go back to it as my default browser if I can.

Which version of Chrome are you on?  I'm on 13.0.782.107 and have no problems.  Perhaps it's an extension you added?  Have you tried loading without extensions and seeing if it works fine then?

Eliminated all extensions and the situation improved.  Restored only the extensions I have been using for some time and the situation went back to no scrolling.  I am using the most current version of Chrome.

Thanks for your help!

That would indicate that one of your extensions is causing the problem.  Enable them one at a time until the scrolling issue comes back, and you'll find out which one is the culprit.

Known (about) issue for Gmail.
We await a fix.

I had this same problem and for me it was the "AutoPager" extension
that was causing it. If you have AutoPager installed then add "https:\
\mail.google.com" to the list of ignored sites in the AutoPager
options.

Thanks for your email.  I don't have that extension but it has led me to give Chrome another try today to see if Google has solved it for me.

Best regards,

Steve
