User name e-mail account

I am wondering about one of the user names that google accounts uses
for my account. The user name is (firstname.lastname). I want to be
able to use this as a Gmail account. I tried signing up for a new
account with this name and it says it is unavalible. I tried sending
an email to (firstname.lastname@ gmail.com) and I got an undeliverable
does not exist message. I also tried (firstnamelastname) too. Any
suggestions?

Chances are that someone signed up for that account, but then closed it.  GMail doesn't recycle account names too frequently, so you may be out of luck.

Visit Gmail.com and enter firstname...@gmail.com and your google account password.

 

Chances are that you will be able to login using this information since google account is associated with gmail account.

instead of trying to sign up, try to sign in since that firstname.lastname is already a google account so possiblly it will allow to use the same username with same password as a gmail account.

Why would I want to do that?  I never created an account for nick.chi...@gmail.com, therefore, it would tell me that there is no such account.  Why are you addressing this to me?  I am not having a problem.
