Hallo Dodo (surely not your real name?)
You must be setting a record for the most questions posed on *any* forum :P
That little red icon is a red telephone in a circle which occurs after
one enables the 'Sender Time Zone' lab feature. Since you would have
enabled it yourself you should know WTF it means.
Ciao

Yes, she is one of our most beloved and prolific contributors here.

nickname.

Second, I am a naturally inquisitive person. Many features about
Gmail interest me, and I find asking knowledgeable and helpful people
in this group to be an excellent, and fast, way to learn. As a former
teacher, I also encouraged my students to ask questions.

Please accept my humble apology, you are correct.

It is the 'Sender Time Zone' lab. Red for 'this person is probably
sleeping' and Green for 'ok to phone'.
