I think I have problem with my gmail. My gmail works fine but it has over took my home page. whenever i sign in I go straight to my gmail inbox it has taken over the whole page. Gmail has some how set itself as the home page and it will not allow me to see or click on anything on the page. The original igoogle page had different sections that i could click on to view my gmail, play games, see the weather, and read the news. When the page starts toad my gmail inbox pops up. So I have to use the search engine within the gmail to go other places online and Iam unable to view any of the other things that I've mentioned previously. So im not sure if it is a gmail problem or an igoogle problem all i know is that I am about ready to get rid of it all. If you or anyone can help me with this problem can you please help me. Thank you.

It sounds like you are using Google Chrome as your browser and you created an "application" for GMail and that is what you are using to access your account.

I think she's accidentally discovered the Gmail iGoogle gadget's canvas view.

If you look on the left side of the page, you'll see various options.
The bold titles correspond to the old tabs for iGoogle. If you click
on one it will take you to that tab.

Thanks for replying. Do you know how I can get back to my original page I first set up or how to get rid of the gmail application that I may have mistakenly applied. I have had this igoogle home page for about a year and I really enjoyed it if I can get it back I would love it. The problem also is if someone was to use my computer and click on internet explorer it will go satraight to my gmail inbox. How can I get the http://mail.google.com/mail/#inbox out of my search box when the page loads. Ive gone into my settings and tried to change it and it didnt work. I also uninstalled internet explorer and reinstalled it thinking that the settings would be lost, but that didn't work. I want to keep my gmail acccount. I just want to be able to access it when I want to not when i click on my home page and it being the only thing I can do.

When you leave your computer, click "sign out". In this case others
may not be able to access your Gmail account by all means.

Wait, does your address bar actually have the address you gave in it?
In that case, you just need to change your homepage.
