When you enable custom keyboard shortcuts in "Labs" under "Settings",
a new option, Keyboard shortcuts, appears in the Settings. In that
list, there is this option:
"Focus last chat mole" with a key of "\27". Does this mean the Esc
key, or should I type in "\27" literally? I cant understand what they
mean by mole - is it mode? What is last chat mode? There is only one
chat mode? Do they mean "Focus on last chat window"? Then why not say
so clearly?

There are also some differences in capitalization in "go To Tasks". If
you are part of the Gmail team, please take note to fix!

The moles are the chat windows (they pop up from the bottom,
whack-a-mole style maybe?):

I didn't enable the lab to test it, but yes, you probably will hit
escape, assuming that esc really is 27. :)

Hi, The esc key has ANSI code 27. But when I hit ESC when in Gmail, no
Chat window comes up! I have keyboard shortcuts enabled and other
shortcut keys are working.

The short-cut key is to bring up the last focused chat mole... do you
have an active chat window with someone when you hit this? If not,
then there's nothing for the shortcut to do. It just brings the most
recent one into focus.
