I joined gmail mid-Dec '07. This week I attempted to make Outlook my
gmail interface (maybe that's what it's called). Anyway, every email
in my gmail inbox moved to Outlook inbox, as I wished. BUT ONLY UNTIL
27 Jan. No mails received after that date moved across. I moved
messages from "Outlook Today--Personal Folders" to a new folder in
"Archives", in case the sheer number of messages (more than 1000) was
blocking receipt of more. That doesn't seem to have done the trick.

So, no incoming emails received after 27 Jan (including today) show in
Outlook.
My Settings are:
Forwarding: Disable forwarding
POP Download: POP is enabled for all mail that has arrived since
12/12/07
IMAP Access: IMAP is disabled

Can anyone help an old man who is a technophobe, who needs simple
instructions, and who doesn't understand jargon?

Thanks in advance

Did you tell Outlook to download again? When you have a lot of messages to
download, it may not do all of them at once.

Outlook will NOT take them all at once...at least mine wont for security reasons.....
