Yes I have had a similar problem, one day it appears another day it does not. It gets pretty annoying and difficult to work like that particularly on the transliteration window.

Anybody there to help with a solution to this problem.

in my email compose box there is a pair of square brackets between each word which is typed in hindi as follows

this makes typing very difficult what could possibly be the reason for this?

I am looking for a solution if any one has faced such an issue previously please let me know.

I'm not sure what this has to do with fonts, and I know 0% about transliteration but, have you tried the usual 'clear cache & cookies'?
