Hello there , I am a Gmail user since 2004 . At that time , one of my
friend made this account for me and he put his email ID in the
secondary email field . And I know that after creating my new
account , Google sent the verification code to that account . But the
problem is , the person who made the account for me has already
deleted his secondary account . :( And now I'd lilke to get my
verification code back . I m not able to go access that deleted
account and I have no chance to see that varification code again
also . So, if there's any way i can get that varification code of my
account , i'd love to wait for the answers . Thanks in advance .

If you're trying to use the account recovery form, I believe that the
verification code is optional. Just give them all the information you
have access to.

I think you can change your secondary email addr at any time,
click "settings" -> "account" if I didn't mistake.

Philip,
Even if you could get it back, I don't think it would help you because
it is so old. I have been locked out out my account. The password was
not working, I made a new one and now my account has been disabled for
over a week. I am sick and tired of filling out forms upon forms and
getting answers that they cannot restore my account because of
inconsistencies.
I NEED MY MAIL!!!!!!!
I have my original verification code from LAST YEAR BUT IT IS NOT
BEING ACCEPTED.

I am so frustrated, I don't know where to turn at this point.I do have
this other address I am writing from, but my importantt mail is in the
locked account.

I need some suggestions to get that verification code anyway . You noe
why ? At that time , I made two account with same secondary email ID .
And fortunately , I was a new user of Gmail at that time and I
captured the screen because Gmail Team said please keep this page
safty and sometime you may need this . And of course , I saved that
page to my Laptop and when i forgot my passwords to one of my
account , it helped me . Because of that reason , I need my another
account also which was created at the same date . But I can't remember
the exact date anyway . Thanks in advance for any reply .

If you can't access the original email, you're out of luck. There is
no other way to retrieve the verification code.

So many people have been "locked out" from their accounts for weeks or
months even though they can prove it has not been messed with. There
is nobody to communicate with. It kinda makes you wonder....are they
confiscating e-mails? I have my verification code and they are not
accepting it, so now what?

Hello Leba , they should accept your verification code . If not
"*Congratulation on creating your brand new Gmail account,
som...@gmail.com . Please keep this email for your records, as it
contains an important verification code that you may need should you
ever encounter problems or forget your password*" . What does it mean
then ? Now , you forgot your passwords and of course that
verification code should work as they said in their mail . Just try
again . Best of luck !

The funny thing here is that I never forgot my password...., I do have
my verification code and they are not accepting it. I have mail and
contacts that I need for my business.
Apparently numerous others are experiencing this same dilemna. What
gives here? Is gmal hijacking e-mail accounts?
