Well, i knew about the new Gdrive, so u can save in a virtual drive on
your PC...but does anyone knows how it works? do i need some
authorization to use it?

I used it for a while and you /do/ need to authenticate your gmail
account. Being a firefox user, I started using the GSpace extension
and like it much better. GDrive kept failing for me. I don't know
how it worked for others, though.

I think they're referring to the new Google GDrive that's not
officially announced, that is not directly related to GMail. You are
referring to the GDrive application/extension that someone wrote to
use their GMail account to store files.

nlainez, please clarify which you're referring to. If you mean the
new "infinite storage" GDrive that Google is supposedly getting ready
to start offering, then it's not available and barely more than
vaporware so far. So no one can use it, unless they have an "in" with
Google that lets them pre-Beta it.

Try doing a simple Google search for gdrive.  I'm sure you'll find somewhere to get it.
