When I type something in the subject line if typed before I get a drop down with it there?
Is this auto complete saving this? where is it?

When you go to the Yahoo home page & click on Mail you are asked
for ID & password. If you type an ID there Yahoo will remember
it and every time you type so much as one letter A group of names
beginning with that letter pop up. Ex: if you have typed there " B " ...
Bob..Bill..Betty..Barb.. all these options will pop up if you typed them there previously..

Question: Where can I go to this autocomplete to delete
one of these names.

In your actual Yahoo mail account you have this feature when
you send an email to someone the autocomplete, after you type
one letter, picks them from your contacts and pops it up so you
don't have to type the entire email address and you can go to contacts
to delete or add.

This is a feature of your browser.  If you tell us what browser you are using, I'm sure someone could offer assistance with clearing the auto-fill database.

Yes Firefox is the browser.. I went to tools/options
looked all around there but no soap? It is this autocomplete.. once you sign in somewhere it remembers you.. and if you make a type error it will also remain there. Like here for example when i go to send an email to gmail-users.. all I have to do is type
g and the box drops down with
gmail...@googleusers.com -
If I typed gnail (mistake) that also would pop up every time I typed a g. not a big thing but I just want to know how to get there.

When you're in Firefox, go into Settings.  From there, click the Privacy tab and click the Settings button next to "Clear history when Firefox closes".  From there, you can pick what you want cleared when Firefox closes.  You can also uncheck "Remember search and form history" which I believe will immediately clear the auto-complete and no longer have Firefox remember anything you type.

Hi Drayton

Just double click the field, highlight the one you want to remove and
hit your 'Delete' key.
