I can't this to work. How is supposed to work in theory?

don't know...i also tried but didn't understand how it operates...

do i have to keep writing a mail for 20 min first...and then test it..?

Apparently what happens is that Gmail has a set time that it will
auto-save the message you are typing. I had thought that it would be
something that saves it as you go along, because unless your computer
crashes right after the schedualrd save, this "auto-save" feature
doesn't really do anything.

my autosave worked today....but i forgot how it did...

it automatically saved the mail in the drafts folder and it says what time it did autosave...
it was only 5 min when i started writing my mail...and then i was doing something else

 

oh...guess what...while writing this maill after two min it automatically says autosaved...i continued writing...it saves every min or two...i suppose...check the attachment...hope that helps...
