Hello there,

I am experiencing a weird issue with my GoogleMail a few days since. Whenever I send an email to somebody with an attachment, I see a equally sized blank message titled 'Unknown Sender' and subject as 'Attachment' carrying the same attachment in Drafts folder. However, the original intended email is fine and I could see it filed in Sent Items folder too.

I would like to know what is causing this unintended draft filing. A pertinent screenshot of the view can be found attached alongwith this note. This view would show it from 'Trash' because I have deleted it from draft to save/reclaim space wasted.

Deepak:

I too have noticed this same thing happening, and do not recall this ever happening before.

This happens to be, but mine automatically appear in the trash... can someone explain why we get these anyway?

It's been going on a while actually. Gmail made it possible to attach
files when you're using it offline and this is a side affect of that.
They'll be automatically removed and they're perfectly legitimate, so
don't worry about it too much.

Hi Texy,

I was trying to disable all the 'Labs' feature that I have selected but still the problem persists. It looks the core attachment feature has an issue or one thing which I still have doubt is 'Rich Attachment' feature (Flash) might be interfering.

Thanks and Regards,

I have disabled the Advanced Flash attachment feature and now the weird attachment does not appear. Our guess that the Flash Uploader is causing this issue is getting confirmed.

Thanks and Regards,

Just a stab in the dark, but could the version of flash effect this?
