sync gmail contacts to outlook 2011 for mac

Is it possible to sync my gmail contacts to outlook 2011 on my mac? If so can you please tell me how?

You can......by using POP3 or IMAP Settings on Outlook 2011 by adding New account

POP or IMAP have nothing to do with contacts.

Paul, you could sync your Mac contacts with Gmail using CardDAV and then have sync Outlook with that.

Vukko, I already have my Google contacts synched with my Mac Address Book, but I still don't see a way to add them to Outlook 2011 for Mac. The only contact that displays in Outlook is my contact, the only contact in "On This Mac". The "Google" contacts in my Mac Address Book will not display. Any suggestions? Thanks.

Hi Larry

Unfortunately my Macbook was stolen so I can't test but I found this guide for turning on 'Sync Services' in Outlook 2011 for Mac
