OS is Win 7 Pro
email client is Gmail (as you can probably see)

I've used Gmail for about a year now, and the following problem is new
to me:

Some time in the past several days A change has occurred so that I can
no longer print out documents (.doc or .docx) attached to emails. When
I try to View a document, I get the message that it's corrupted and
can't be repaired - yet I can Save it and view the entire documen, but
it comes up as a Googledocs document, not an MS Word document. When I
try to print the document, it prints out only part of the page, and
any content is so tiny that it can't be read.

Daily scans with Malwarebytes and with Norton Internet Security show
no malware. I haven't downloaded any new programs, or visited any new
web sites - and certainly no "suspect" web sites.

Any ideas what has gone wrong, and how to correct it?

Hi Bill

Gmail is not a client. It is a web app that runs from within your web browser.

Did you try a different browser?

Many odd problems with Gmail's web interface are due to a corrupt copy
of the code loaded in your web browser, and can be solved by "clearing
cache and cookies". Have you tried that yet?
