Even though I have marked the button to display my multiple inboxes
(which by the way is a great feature) to the right, the drop down
below after briefly showing up to the right.

If I refresh they show up on the right, but drop back down.

I'm on a latest Mac with Firefox 3.6.2.

Hi

This doesn't help your problem but have you tried updating to the
latest 3.6.8? I can't replicate your problem with FF on my OS X
10.6.2, FF 3.6.8.
I've had it with FF at the moment though, become a memory hog and
crashes frequently. These days I stick to Safari or Chrome on the Mac.

FYI there's a FF 4.0 Beta, promises better things.

Regards

I think some combinations of screen size and resolution can cause some display issues with multiple inboxes.

Your best bet is probably to submit feedback to the developer, they may be able to help.

The current method for submitting feedback is through this page: http://mail.google.com/support/bin/request.py?contact_type=labs
You can select the lab, and type of feedback you want to provide (e.g.
'Praise,' 'Problem,' 'Suggestion,' or 'Other').

Does it work if you use a different browser? If you have the same problem in other browsers, then you do not need to troubleshoot your Firefox add-ons.

Not all labs work well together. There have been reports of some labs not behaving properly with multiple inboxes, (hide read labels and nested labels) but I don't know if this applies to your problem
You could try disabling any other labs you use to see if it works properly without them. If it is a problem with another lab, you then have to work through one by one them to discover which one.

"Remember The Milk for Gmail" Firefox extension is known to conflict with multiple inboxes. Standard Ff advice for troubleshooting add-ons is to turn off all extensions and work through them one by one to discover if there is a conflict.

The Google Group for Multiple inboxes is here: http://groups.google.com/group/gmail-labs-help-multiple-inboxes/topics?pli=1
You might find some relevant help if you search it.
They have archived the Group, and are no longer adding.content.

Fredrik,

Glad you have solved the problem.

Thanks for posting feedback. It would be useful to know which add-ons you needed to disable.

As a matter of fact it worked a short while but then the problem came
back

I then upgraded to the betaverison of Firefox 4, and the problem is
gone :-)
