UNABLE TO CREATE ANOTHER GMAIL ACCOUNT

I am trying to add an email account to gmail in order to send/
receive
email through my gmail acocunt. When I add the email address in gmail
acount settings, I get a screen that says gmail sent a confirmation
email to my other email address with a verification code. The problem
is that no email from gmail with a verification code is ever
received.
So with no verification code, I can't verify that I own the other
email account. And since I can't verfiy the account is mine, gmail
won't let me send emails from that address through my gmail account.

would really like to get this resolved, but have exhausted all
options. Please help!

Did you check your spam/junk folders on the other account? It's
possible the confirmation e-mail got caught there.

I did and it wasn't there!

Very Strange... Are you sure you typed the Mail ID correctly? Cause, Personally I have five IDs "attached" to this one.

Come to think of it, it could be a problem with the new interface, have u tried switching to Old version an then sending the verification? Try that too.
