So have you guys suggested these things to Google?

I'm thinking that while there is still the option to revert to the old composer that they are still working on the features.

I send from several multiple addresses all the time and it's especially annoying when replying because then you can't see the signature either.

In general, I really like the new compose window. But is there any way to make it so that the "From" field appears by default (i.e., without having to click over by Cc and Bcc to make it appear)? I send a lot of emails from different addresses that I have all pointing toward the same gMail account, and it can be very easy to forget to switch from my gmail address to my university address (for example) if I don't see a specific "from" field at a glance.

True enough... I see it under the triangle on the bottom right.  I'm not having any of the problems people are describing, so I'm sticking with the new form till it's permanent or I do have a problem.
