Hello everyone ,

I am so upset Ihave been tryig to send/forward an announcement to
someone and they cannot view the picture. The HTML was sent to me by
an organization and I would like to forward it . I have tried several
times, is there a way to do this ? Can I copy it to a flash drive and
send it as a attachment ? Is there a way to do that on GMAIL ? HELP ME
PLEASE ! THANK YOU

Are you in a "rich formatting" mode? Look in the bar right above the
box where you write your message. It should have a bunch of a buttons.
If it only has a link which says "Rich formatting >>," click it. To
actually have it take affect for the forward you'll have to discard
the current message and hit Forward again.

If your Forwarded messages are not containing images which are in
the original, the usual reason is that your Gmail was not in Rich
Text
format BEFORE you tried to forward that message.
To rectify: Firstly, you MUST use Standard Mode, rather than Basic
HTML.
Next, Open a new Compose Mail, and make sure you have all the
formatting buttons visible. [That's the Bold, Italic, Underline
series!]
If they're not, then click on the 'Rich Text' label which you should
be
seeing, and then Discard that message.
Next time you open Gmail and go into Compose Mail, you should now see
all those formatting buttons, and the 'Plain Text' label!
If you do, then you're in Rich Text mode.
Now try and forward that message with the embedded graphics.
.
.
PS. It's NOT a great idea to use your full e-mail address when you
post
to these forums. Address harvesters crawl through them harvesting
those
addresses for spammers! Best advised to use a nom-de-plume!

Regardless of having an alias or whatever Google calls it, your
address is available. Doesn't really matter. :)

Dear Ryan , you can do this if you are composing an email but not when
you are trying to forward a message sent to you. I have looked all
over the place while in forwarding mode and cannot find the rich
formatting buttons, they seem to only appear in reply mode and
composing mode. Thank you for responding. Any other thoughts on how we
can solve this? Please?

The other thing you can do, or if this doesn't work, is use an email client
program on your PC, and download/upload messages from/to your Gmail account
using either POP or IMAP. Those programs sometimes give you greater
flexibility (with regard to composing messages and handling HTML, photos,
etc.) than what Gmail offers in its web interface.
