Is it possible to set up an automated email which i create once and
use gmail to send this mail automatically everyday to go to a certain
person in my address book.

Depends on what formatting you require, if any. You can use the Canned Responses lab to create [the static] part of the message and Google Calendar as a sort of scheduler for sending it (using a filter for the Calendar reminder to forward it as part of that reminder).

I believe he's using a Mac. Possibly an AppleScript (see /Library/Scripts/Mail Scripts/ ) for examples, or have a look at Automator (http://support.apple.com/kb/ht2488)
