Not sure where to go with this problem, but it's really bothering me, since it makes using Google Groups pretty hard.
Since the last time I used Google Groups I have suddenly become a member of ALL groups pertaining to Gmail Labs features, "Advanced IMAP controls", "Old Snakey", "Right Side Chat", all of them. No idea why.
Now I find myself unsubscribing from 50ish groups with a gloomy notion in the back of my head... perhaps it will happen again soon. I've searched around the web a bit (I refuse to accept the brand name as a verb), to no avail.
Does anyone have any idea what might cause this behavior?

On a side note, I noticed some Google Groups appeared in Wave today, what's the story on that?

I suspect on the Groups that you were part of a Gmail Labs group or
something that they broke apart and they automatically subscribed you
to all of them since that was the way it used to be. It shouldn't
happen again.

Not sure on Wave.
