Multiple-Inbox not refreshing instantly?

I started using the multiple-inbox a few weeks ago and I find
annoying that it does not refresh instantly after I do an action with
an email.

I use the multiple-inbox to display only the unread emails. If I
select one email and delete it, it stays in the unread emails. I think
it should just move off the screen and into the trash (just like the
inbox!) and not stay in the unread box. The only way to "clean" my
unread emails is to click on refresh.

Is there a workaround for this or is the feature just like that?

Thank you.

Multiple Inboxes is still a Labs project, and as such "not yet ready
for primetime"!
It could break (or disappear) at any stage.

More to the point, GMail makes extensive use of your local cache to increase the speed of response, so there are times when the cache can get stale.  The only times *I* have noticed this happening, is when I'm in a search; which is really what Multiple Inboxes is, a screen of multiple concurrent searches.  I use the Quick Links lab and it's all saved searches as well.  Once in a while, I'll get old results returned; and other times, as I act upon messages it's delayed in getting current results.

If it bothers you that much, you can use the official GMail suggestion page to suggest that searches receive an immediate refresh after an action is taken on a message.  I won't suggest it, as I prefer the speed over the refresh.  I know which ones I've acted on, and if I *NEED* the refresh to see it, I have the link handy to act upon.

Thanks for the replies. You have a good point here. If it's a matter
of refresh/caching, I might prefer speed...
I will then make entensive use of the refresh button :)
