hello,

I changed my Gmail account. So how can I move the mails from the old
Gmail account to the new one?

I creat two new accounts, one for myself, and one for my family.
How I can use a filter to let part of my old mails form old account to
my new private mail account, and others from old account to my new
family mail account?

Is there some program to do it? I think it is very useful.
After I have too many mails, I can creat more mail boxes to sort my
mails.

thanks a lot

I don't know about the filtering stuff. But I think that the only way
to transfer mail from one account to another is to send it as a new
email to your new address or to foreward it to your new address. I
think that has to be done one by one, and may be tedious. Of course I
am not a computer wiz, so I don't know for sure. It is just my guess.
This makes me wonder if one can forward messages as inline text rather
than an attachment.....hmmmm......I think I will log into my account
and play around and see if Gmail has such a feature or not.

I wonder if the messages could be pop-ed over...

Gmail does not have an option of downloading POP mail INTO it only from
it that I know of. now dont quote me on this, I think I will have to
try it myself to see for fun. but POP all of your gmail into another
email account and have that setting as FORWARD to the other gmail
account?

Yes that works. I've been doing exactly that for some time.
