If I decide to Close my Gmail account and delete all services
associated with it, does that mean my IP address and history is
removed from Google's Servers permanently? If so, how long does it
take?

Thanks

How does your IP address have anything to do with your Gmail account??

And what history are you talking about? (It's likely that Google
keeps track of how many hits certain webpages get, for example; but I
doubt that has anything with one's Gmail account; and those counts
could be retained indefinitely. That's only one example; I'm probably
not getting what you must be thinking about.)

I think it's fair to say 'No' is the answer to your question ("address
and history is removed from Google's Servers permanently?") and they
might perhaps retain the information they have on you/your activity
for perhaps a couple of years.
But that's not to say they "knowingly" do so: there are no human
beings involved with running the accounts or the Gmail system itself.
How long your information remains within the whole backup regime is
probably a question very few people could give any definitive
statement on! But the information regards your username and e-mail
address will be held in perpetuity - since that will prevent those
ever being re-issued!!!
