It appears, from what I have read in this group, that there is no keyboard shortcut to get to the Subject field to edit it (e.g., when I'm forwarding a message and want to change the Subject).

I learned about CTRL-Shift-B and -C and -F, but CTRL-Shift-S does something entirely different.

I hope I'm just missing something ...

Shift-tab twice, down arrow, to extend the menu which has Edit Subject on the menu.

Thanks, Zack.  For me, Shift-Tab once then Down Arrow did the trick.

Thanks, Marko, but I'd gone there already; unless I'm missing it, the shortcut Zack gave is not in that list.

This frustrates me as I often want to change the Subject line when I go to forward an email to Evernote. Here's what worked for me.

F (to forward) or R (to reply)
Shift+Tab - Highlights the "To"
Shift+Tab - Goes backwards and highlights the arrow
Down arrow 3X - goes to "Edit subject"
ENTER - Opens subject line
Start typing to create a new subject line or right arrow to add text.
