Are you syncing with POP or IMAP?  If it's IMAP and your Outlook has those folders, it will believe it needs them and create them in your GMail.

Hello,

I just recently noticed that I have 2 unwanted lables in my gmail account which also syncs with my outlook.
The 2 labels are called Brand and personal. I've tried to delete them but they just keep coming back.
Anyone know what this is???

Perhaps you have another IMAP client running elsewhere?

If you think that you may have cracked, have you changed your password and made sure that your account recovery options are set up? Changing your password will also cause any 3rd party clients that are logged in (eg. Outlook) to be unable to connect (without you entering the new password).

This is what is inside when i open it. It shows me every email categorized but I never made this setting
and I never made these folders.

Have I been hacked or what is going on?

You have to go into setting. than go to filter and search your filter of personal and brand. and delete this filter.

Or you can remove label from setting.

This setting is enable by default by gmail.

You are not hacked.....
:)

Thanks And Regards

Found out what it was. I had installed Philterit a few weeks ago and never bothered with it again
since I recieve my mail on my outlook or iphone most of the time.

The app doesn't show up correct on firefox only in Chrome, thats why I couldn't find out what it was.
The app should be banned or you develop something similar which works in all browsers

Thanks and Amen
