"what is the email address separator you are using?
i tried putting multiple addresses in my filters, space separated and
comma separated..
neither worked.. "

On another topic someone posted the above observation. Well it
describes quite well the problem I'm STILL getting to create a group:
anyway, what is the correct email address separator I should use?
tks

If you make a group contact, you'll notice that google uses a comma
followed by a space to separate the different e-mail addresses.

Marcia - Didn't you get either of my messages?  As I told you, the separator in Gmail is a comma, unlike in other e-mail programs where it is customarily a semi-colon. Why are you trying to create a group e-mail in filters?  You create a group by going to Contacts, naming your group, and typing your e-mail addresses within the group.  If you already have the contacts installed in the All Contacts list, all you have to do is start typing them in the add contacts field, one by one.  As each one pops up from the menu that you see, just click on it.  The computer does the rest for you.  If you are starting from scratch, type in each complete e-mail address in the add contacts field, followed by a comma and one space: jack...@msn.com, julie...@earthlink.net, etc.  I don't bother with filters, but as I understand it you can forward what you have in a filter to another e-mail address, but you cannot compose a group in the filters function. - Wolfeman

Perhaps you should read Marcia's post. She's not talking about sending
emails but creating filters.
When creating filters you want to use different operators such as OR
NOT AND
(you want to use OR). They should be in capitals, and you can use
addresses, domains or peoples display names (if you put them in double
quotes(")).
