Reading POP email on Gmail

I have a Eudora email account that I get only certain messages on--and
I'd like to keep it that way.

Is it currently possible to read my Eudora messages in gmail when I'm
traveling? Currently it only seems possible to download gmail messages
into a POP account.

Am I missing something?

If your Eudora mail account allows you to forward incoming email to
another address, then yes, otherwise no. Gmail can not poll other pop
accounts, like eg Yahoo can.
So, no, you're not missing something. ;-)
