You can use google apps. That way you can use gmail with your own domain. Google will be glad to take your money.

I am a long time user of gmail and I am very satisfied with the service. I have been so satisfied that I have used my gmail.com email address as my primary personal address. I have many accounts using this address as my sole and primary address.

I have no reason to believe that google will shut my account down. I purposely do my best to be aware of the terms of use and use my google services responsibly. I have never had any problems with any google products or services and I greatly appreciate that.

I have been putting off a concern I have had and I think the longer time goes on, it becomes more irresponsible of me to not address this concern. If for some reason my account is suspended (even as careful as I am - mistakes can be made on either side) I will be in a bad position. Not only is Gmail my primary email account, but my android phone utilizes it very heavily.

I was wondering if anyone else has a good solution for this. In my ideal world, I would be able to pay Google for the great email service they provide and they would be willing to provide support for this service. I am planning on changing email addresses that are tied to any kind of account to a personally hosted domain and email account. Anyone else have a better plan for this, I suspect I am not the only one that has painted themselves into this same corner..

Thanks!
