I am using outlook.

Suddenly today, I am somehow automatically cc-ing myself and the cc shows up in 'all mail' folder....as well as the 'sent' mail folder....is there a way to stop this?

thanks,

Andy

When you send an email message, Gmail saves a copy of the sent message in your "Sent Mail" folder/label.  It has always done this.

Everything that is not in Trash or Spam, is also visible in "All Mail".  "All Mail" is just that ... all your mail (that is not deleted or spam).  So by definition, anything that is in your Inbox or Sent Mail or any of your other labels, is also in All Mail.  It has always been that way.

Note that they are not two copies of the same message.

If you are seeing messages where your own address is in the CC: field in the header, when you didn't put it there, then my guess is that Outlook is doing that.
