Hey

Thanks in advanced for any assistant you can provide...

I have an email account on gmail, and I use my password everyday,
several times a day, with no problems what so ever - UNTIL -
Yesterday I opened 2-3 account for other uses, and suddenly my main
account constantly gave me error messages telling me my user or
password is incorrect.
because my alternate email isn't in use anymore i had to wait 24 hours
for the security question, because I did managed to logg in to my
primary account 15 minutes before the error occurred.
after 24 hours IT happened AGAIN!
I changed my password after the security question was answered
correctly, but after few hours I got the same error with the new one!

Is someone hacked my account?
PLEASE HELP ME!!!!
I cannot wait another 24 hours, my account is very needed now!

thanks in advanced

Guy

I see John ass posted on how to recover an account.

If your account has been hacked, there will be some evidence of it; but I think it might be a different problem.

If you manage to log in to your gmail account, you can check to see if someone else has been using it. Right at the bottom of your Gmail page there is text "
Last account activity" and a link that says "details"; click on this link and you will see where and when your account was accessed, for the last 5 times. If someone else is using your account it should show up here.

You can find help on account security here: https://mail.google.com/support/bin/topic.py?topic=12784

The problem you are having might be the fact you created several new accounts; but I can not say for definite.

In an attempt to protect against spam, Gmail has introduced account verification, and also limited how many accounts you can create from any one IP address in a period of time.
If too many accounts are created from the same IP address, Google may suspect you of being a spammer, and limit your access.

You can have up to five gmail accounts associated with one mobile number. If you have problems with verification when you create a new account, and send the verification code to your mobile phone more than once, it uses up the 5 verifications that are allocated to that mobile phone.
