Hey I've been having the same problem - so what I did, just play with the different titles, it seems like Google contacts auto assign which phone title, such as "mobile" or "work". So far what fixed my problem was to assign their primary number as "work" and secondary number as "Mobile"

Hey i just want to know why the merged contacts in my GMAIL are viewed with a comma in them on my Andriod phone. Please help.
