I find that the drop down menue for MOVE TO is -b-e-h-i-n-d the
previoulsy displayed yellow system notice that a conversation has been
moved.
Shouldnt the dropdown be ON TOP?
I think it used to be?

I tried looking for comments about this in archives. found none.. is
anyone else seeing this?

Regarding the dropdown.. WHy cant the dropdown really display ALL the
labels in nice neate columns on the page... and truly perform as a
DROP DOWN MENUE.. only showing the first few forces the user to code
their labels in such a way that only their most frequent will display
in this limited drop down menu.. kind of defeates the purpose of quick
filing or logical naming of labels if we have to work around continual
sliding on a drop down..

I can't comment much on the drop-down being behind a notice as I don't use the "move to" very often; but I would agree with the notice being "on top".  It's meant to be like a pop-up; which always pop in front.

As far as displaying all labels, that HAS been discussed several times (though maybe not in this forum), and there were reasons why.  It does allow you to start typing and brings up partial matches, so I personally never scroll; always type enough to match and hit enter.

the drop down menu is on top in my gmail..I just moved a conversation
to find out..and the 'conversation moved' yellow notice is BELOW the
drop down. as far as the labels go, whats wrong with scrolling the
list? it only takes a moment and keeps the drop down smaller. do we
REALLY need to travel at super speed for everything?
