Suggestion for Google's Translation Tool

I've been a general lurker here for ages, but I finally had an idea for google.
They have a translation service, and following on the theme of their operator:word I reckon they should integrate a translation in the search box on the main site.
for example:
translate:french hello would return the french for hello. You could do who sentances that way as well:
translate:french how are you?
etc..
What do you think?

You could translate an incoming message to your language, or an
outgoing message to a foreign language. If it worked well enough, this
could bring down the language barier when communicating with people all
over the world.
