I am noticing this behaviour on my Apps account but my gmail.com account is fine. Pressing Ctrl + or - to change the zoom fixes it strangely, then you can Ctrl 0 for normal zoom. Still a pain but easier than dragging with the mouse.

Can anyone else confirm the same behavior on both Mac and Windows computers?  I have seen the same behavior on Firefox, Safari, and Chrome.  A couple of my Windows friends have also confirmed it as well.

General note:  composing in a pop up window (shift-C) works correctly.

Chrome note:  Chrome weirdly does not show a horizontal scroll bar, but the right side still gets cut off in the same way.

Hi Andy

The problem seems to be only with the Apps Gmail, and only on Firefox (actually, Waterfox 15). I confirmed with a friend that the problem also exists on Firefox. It works OK on both Chrome 23.0.1271.64 m and Safari 5.1.7. This is all on Windows 7 x64, I don't have a Mac with me currently to test.
